About suffering, they were never wrong: Hatton Gallery

Roman Bordun Destroyed apartment, Irpin, Kyiv region, June 2022

Enjoy a trio of exhibitions presented by Newcastle University's MA Curating Art students at the Hatton Gallery.

Partnering 12 artists from 12 different countries with 12 historical artworks from the Hatton collection, the exhibitions explore how artists across time and space have depicted the pain and suffering of others, by re-examining the history of emotions.
