Flash Fiction Creative Writing Workshop: Great North Museum: Hancock

Join the Natural History Society of Northumbria (NHSN) for a creative writing workshop in flash fiction - featuring a museum, heritage and archive twist.

Hosted at Great North Museum: Hancock, attendees will spend time perusing the treasures of NHSN's North East Nature Archive and use their imaginations to bring them to life.

Stephanie Lyttle, who's studying a PhD in Creative Writing at Newcastle University, will be on hand to guide attendees through a series of exercises aimed at generating ideas for their flash fiction pieces, help write a first draft and then refine it.

All levels of writing experience are welcome to attend and light refreshments will be provided.
