Northern Pride Festival: Exhibition Park

Saturday 20th July 2013 sees Northern Pride presents the 6th Newcastle Pride in Exhibition Park. After a fantastic fifth birthday in 2012 where 3,500 people marched form Newcastle Civic Centre and 23,000 people joined in the fun in Exhibition Park where Pride was moved to at the last minute due to poor ground conditions in Leazes park. This year Exhibition Park will be the home of Newcastle Pride This year proves to be bigger and better than ever. As usual we will have a main stage packed with acts to entertain you, we will also have the Steve Paske Health Zone with all the information you can find on health related issues and full sexual health screening within in the onsite clinic. Cabaret Tent, Fun Fair and Market Stalls. The out! northeast Womens Tent makes a popular return after its successful debut last year. New to this years Newcastle Pride we will see a Family Zone with lots to keep the kids entertained along with an alternative stage providing local acts comedy and more and a dance tent Dance Tent for the less faint of hearted. Plenty of food and bars will be around the Pride site to help keep you going throughout the day. As ever Newcastle Pride will be free but if you want something a little special you can join the VIP area for a mere £20 (tickets available from www.northern-pride.com ) where you can enjoy a private bar posh loos and mix with stars. The Pride weekend kicks off on Friday 19th July with Northern Frontrunners 5K run and we will have a number of events leading up to the big day.
