Alice in Wonderland Ball: Discovery Museum

ONE of the worlds best loved childrens stories is the inspiration for a fund raising event to help a North East charity. On November 12 Newcastles Discovery Museum will host the WonderLAN Ball raising funds for North East Headway which supports people who suffer from brain injuries. The event, which will be themed around Lewis Carrolls Alice In Wonderland, will raise money for Headways Look Ahead in the North (LAN) initiative, which takes members for a weekend of entertainment and activities to The Calvert Trust at Keilder. The aim of the ball is to raise funds for the LAN weekend so as many places as possible can be funded. The ball is being organised by Durham-based EMG Solicitors, which manages trusts for people with catastrophic brain injuries along with acting as professional deputies on their behalf.
