Making your home feel entirely yours can be a long and expensive process but it’s worth it: when everything comes together and it all feels just right – from the paintwork to the floors, the art to the arrangement – your home can be an expression of your personality and somewhere that brings you happiness every day.

Furniture obviously plays a large part in that – from choosing the perfect sofa to the most efficient storage solution - so we’ve brought together a few of the best places to shop for home furniture in Newcastle to suit all kinds of tastes and budgets.

The store has ‘lifestyle zones’ that allow you to see how pieces work together, and a range of contemporary designer furniture that’s bound to inspire. Most of Heal’s stock is fairly high end but again, the clearance section has some real bargains too.

Everything they sell is made-to-measure and hand finished to the highest standard, with prices for custom made modular kitchens starting at around £30,000.
