This Is Tomorrow Festival 2018

Last updated:

There’s plenty to get excited about when it comes to sharing major music moments this summer in NE1 - made even better by the brand new open-air music festival, This Is Tomorrow
at Spillers Wharf this May (Friday 25 & Saturday 26).

The must-attend music festival will take place on the banks of the Tyne and will feature celebrated bands including Catfish And The Bottlemen and Thirty Seconds To Mars.

BRIT Award winners Catfish and The Bottlemen will take to the Spillers Wharf stage on Friday 25 May following their sellout shows at Finsbury Park and Don Valley on the back of their last critically acclaimed album, The Ride. Catfish and The Bottlemen gigs don’t come about too often, so we’re incredibly excited to see them taking to the banks of the Tyne this May.

Catfish and The Bottlemen will be joined on Friday by Newcastle-born singer-songwriter and BBC Sound of 2018 artist, Sam Fender, as well as North East indie stalwarts, Little Comets and innovative alt-pop band, Everything Everything.

Saturday’s set list sees Thirty Seconds To Mars take to the open-air music event. Headlining the second day of the Newcastle festival, the US mega-stars will celebrate the end of their huge European tour with a blowout gig on Tyneside.

Jared Leto’s band, Thirty Seconds To Mars, have sold over 15 million albums worldwide, receiving a number of amazing awards and accolades throughout their music careers. They’ve been hailed as one of the most exciting live acts in the world today, and they’re coming to the North East for a must-see gig as part of the This Is Tomorrow Festival 2018.

What a line up! Make sure you get yourselves down to Spillers Wharf this May as the This Is Tomorrow Festival firmly puts the Quayside on the music map!

A star-studded, outdoor music festival for the people of NE1 and beyond!

Tickets from £35.75 on Friday, £41.25 on Saturday. thisistomorrow.co.uk
