Start the day off as you mean to go on - with pancakes. Watch as the lovely team at Quay Ingredient dollop fresh batter on the crêpe stove and cook up your scrumptious cinnamon dusted pancake feast for just £3.45 a pop. It doesn't get much better than that!
The Botanist
You’ll get plenty of pictures to jazz up your Insta feed at The Botanist where they make all your pancake dreams come true. They’ll be serving up hanging-kebab style pancakes topped with strawberries and marshmallows, all drizzled in chocolate.
La Petite Crêperie
Mix up your lunch break and take a stroll into Grainger Market where you can pick up a perfectly rolled up pancake. Treat yourself to a 'galette saucisse' (£4) which is the sausage sandwich of pancakes. A Cumberland sausage tucked neatly into a crêpe and packed out with dijon mustard. Sounds good to us!
Long Play Café
Take a trip State-side and try out the 'lumberjack pancakes' (£8) - a good hearty stack of American pancakes topped up with bacon rashers, sausage, scrambled eggs and drizzled in sweet maple syrup. Worth waking up early for!
Creams
If you’re ready to go full swing into Shrove Tuesday, Creams is the place for you. You’ll be spoilt for choice with their dedicated menu of deliciousness. From their 'crêpe au rocher' piled high with gelato, milk chocolate sauce, chopped nuts and Ferrero Rocher, to the 'peach perfect' stacked with peach slices, drizzled with white chocolate sauce and sprinkled with white chocolate shavings. There’s something for everyone to get excited about.
