Legendary local dance music festival Lost Minds returns to Newcastle this summer with a brilliant line-up for its epic fifth edition.

What is Lost Minds Festival?
Lost Minds Festival is a big-name, big production dance festival happening in the heart of the city and hosted in collaboration with clubbing legends Cream. It’s the fifth Lost Minds event in Newcastle - following four sell-out years - and promises the very best electronic music acts across its four stages: the Main Stage, Second Speed, Cream and Hard Kiddstock.
Where is it happening?
This year, Lost Minds is happening in the green oasis of Exhibition Park, just on the outskirts of Newcastle city centre.
When is it happening?
The festival takes place on Saturday 11th July 2026, running from 11am to 11pm (with last entry at 7:30pm sharp).
Which acts are playing?
Very excitingly, the festival is being headlined by none other than EDM royalty Oliver Heldens!
Also appearing genre-bending DJ Holy Priest, Dutch trio Dash Berlin and the legendary Darren Styles. That’s just a small taste of the talent coming to the Toon – check out the full Lost Minds line-up for all performers playing the festival.
What’s the best way to get there?
It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to walk to Exhibition Park from Newcastle city centre and the closest Metro station is Haymarket. The area is well served by buses too and there’s the option to grab a taxi from the city centre to the festival site.
Check out more travel advice on the Lost Minds website but however you travel to the festival, make sure you enter the site through the main gates next to the Claremont Road roundabout.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, attendees must be aged 18 or over and there’ll be a strict Challenge 21 policy in place both at the gates and at the bars, so if you’re lucky to look young enough to be asked for ID make sure you bring your passport or driver’s licence!
Will there be food and drink?
There’ll be plenty of food stalls offering a wide range of tasty eats and a number of well-stocked bars to keep you refreshed throughout the festival.
Please note that not outside food or drink can be brought into the festival site and that the bars are card-only – but food stalls, market stalls and fairground rides will accept both cash and card.
Is the site accessible for people with disabilities?
The Lost Minds team have made the festival as inclusive as possible with an accessible viewing platform, accessible toilets, an accessible entrance and essential companion tickets.

How much are tickets and how do I book?
Ticket are available to book via Skiddle and Ticketmaster with standard entry costing £71.76 and there’s the option to buy tickets for the official Lost Minds Afterparty at legendary Newcastle music venue NX Newcastle too.
Tickets can be purchased at the Lost Minds box office on the day, but they're already selling fast so we’d recommend booking ahead so you don’t miss out!

The official Lost Minds afterparty takes place at NX Newcastle, running from 10:30pm to 4am, with more tunes, more good vibes and more dancing to keep the party going. Afterparty tickets cost £28.25 and festival-afterparty ticket combos are available to purchase too.
