Christmas Wreath Making Workshop @ Motel One
Festive food, crafting fun and a welcome drink? That’s what £48 gets you at Motel One this November with this delightful wreath making class. Grab a drink on arrival, create a gorgeous wreath to hang on your door and enjoy a cheeky mince pie to keep you fuelled and those creative juices flowing!

Festive Fused Glass Workshop @ YOLO Townhouse
Get into the Christmas spirit with local maker Kate Marr of KM Glassworks fame and her festive fused glass workshop at YOLO Townhouse. Under Kate’s expert supervision, you’ll learn how to cut your own glass using a range of glass materials, paints and techniques and make your very own fused glass tealight to practice before getting crafty and creating some gorgeous Christmas decorations to hang on your tree. Tickets include a welcome drink and a KM Glassworks gift bag too!

Christmas Puds & Pastries @ Blackfriars
It wouldn’t be Christmas Day without a traditional festive pudding to round off your meal and Blackfriars’ Cookery School is going to teach you exactly how to make your own! You’ll not only get to make a Christmas pudding from scratch but also get to try your hand at making some festive pastries too – perfect if you’re hosting on the big day!

Embossed Christmas Decoration Workshop @ Newcastle Arts Centre
Newcastle Arts Centre’s regular courses always get a festive theme this time of year and we’ve got our eye on this brilliant workshop. Hosted by local artist Millie Avis, attendees will create their very own foil embossed Christmas decorations out of metal – perfecting for decking your halls this festive season or for gifting a loved one!

There’s plenty more festive foodie fun for little ones in store at Newcastle Christmas Village with Mrs. Claus’ Bakery. With the help of Mrs. Claus and her elves, they’ll decorate delicious freshly baked biscuits with festive icing and sprinkles – and create their own magical fairy dust in Santa’s special mixing bowl. They might even save you a bite of their biscuits… but we wouldn’t count on it!

Christmas Stocking Sewing Workshop @ High Bridge Works
Shop-bought Christmas stockings are all very well, but you can add some personal festive flair to your fireplace this winter with this workshop hosted by Tabbey Bobbin. Warm up with a gourmet hot chocolate before getting stuck in creating a Christmas keepsake that’ll give you festive cheer for years to come. All materials and tools are provided but guests are welcome to bring their own sewing machines and any personal fabrics they’d like to use. And, if you request it at least three days in advance of the workshop, you can add a custom embroidered name to your stocking cuff too!
