Rev Up Your Engines: The Newcastle Motor Show Returns

The NE1 Newcastle Motor Show is back for 2018! We’re ready to make more mega motoring moments as the city comes to life with supercars, stunts and street entertainment.

It’s time to round up your mothers, your munchkins and your motoring mad mates, because the NE1 Newcastle Motor Show
is back with more car-fuelled fun than ever before!

It’s the North’s largest, free, open-air, city-based motor show, exhibiting millions of pounds worth of the world’s most exclusive and expensive cars.

This two-day, festival-style motoring event will take to the streets of Newcastle, inviting petrol-heads and families alike to power up their passion for power cars, pop-ups and sensational stunt shows.

Last year, crowds filled Grey Street, Grainger Street, Shakespeare Street and beyond - to enjoy live driving displays, world-famous machines in action and a whole host of interactive activities at the intu Eldon Square Fan Zone. This year, we’re giving you all of the above - and much, much more, with the North’s leading car dealers and a range of top motoring brands setting up their stalls and interactive exhibitions!

It’s time to get up close and personal with dream cars and find out everything you need to know about the wonderful world of motoring. Leading car brands such as Aston Martin, Tesla, Lexus, Lloyd BMW and Mini will all be on display as the city turns into a giant, open-air showroom; while major attractions include the BLOODHOUND Supersonic race car in the shadow of Grey’s Monument and live action stunt driving by world renowned stunt driver, Paul Swift.

The city will be packed with motoring moments for families and petrol-heads alike with themed areas and fan zones dedicated to exciting exhibitions, virtual experiences and car-fuelled films shown on NE1’s Screen on the Green at Old Eldon Square.   

A driving force when it comes to the summer social calendar in NE1, this is a must-attend for families, car-enthusiasts and anyone who loves the electrifying atmosphere of a top-class show!
