The second edition of NE1's Bigg Foodie Friday is back in-situ at the Bigg Market this Friday and we can't think of a better way to start the weekend!
Newcastle’s foodies couldn't have missed our fantastic Bigg Foodie Friday event, brought to the new public realm at the Bigg Market in May!
This mouthwatering new pop-up market will take to the streets on the last Friday of the month throughout summer, until September - and it’s a great way to get to know some of the North East finest culinary stars!
We’re a very proud city and we’re massively into our food! So we thought, why not tick the boxes for culture and culinary delights with a fabulous food market in one of the most iconic areas in Newcastle.
The Bigg Market has a whole ‘lotta history - and to celebrate the redevelopment and spread the word about the site’s new public realm, we’re inviting foodies to join us on their lunch break for Friday treats!
Whether you’re popping along post-meeting with a colleague, or you fancy a mid-shopping trip munch, you can expect a hive of vibrant street food, communal seating areas, live music and your favourite local traders!
We’re expecting June’s Bigg Foodie Friday to be bigger, busier and even more delicious than last month’s event.
