WonderBar Leads the Way in Safe, Social Distancing Entertainment

WonderBar, one of the newest and most fun bars in Newcastle is all ready to welcome customers back on 17th May and will be the shining example of how to do socially distancing entertaining. Student nights, interactive darts and live sports will be on the menu over the next few weeks and the staff's top priority is keeping everyone safe whilst having fun.

There's a one-way system upon entry and around the venue to ease pinch points such as toilet facilities, sanitiser stations at various points around the bar, app ordering to reduce contact between staff and customers, socially distanced tables and a state of the art air conditioning system which dumps recycled air outside and brings fresh air in.

With live music and entertainment starting next month and a fabulous space upstairs for parties, charity events and work get-togethers... it's going to be a summer of fun and freedom!

Barry Stout, General Manager commented:

" We are really excited about opening- having only really been open for four months before Covid hit there's a lot of time to make up for. We want to be the shining example of how to entertain our customers while keeping them super safe. Myself and all the staff look forward to opening the doors on 17th May- whether you're popping in for some family fun playing darts or just to have a drink & some food with your pals, everyone is welcome "

All staff are trained in the new Track & Trace system and walk in's are welcomed.
