Vote now for the North East’s Favourite Romantic Film 2014

Tyneside Cinema invites audiences to vote for their favourite romantic film for Valentine’s Day Vote online before Thursday 30 January at www.tynesidecinema.co.uk/love The winning film will be announced on Tuesday 4 February and screened at Tyneside Cinema on Thursday 14 February
Newcastle’s Tyneside Cinema is inviting audiences to nominate their favourite romantic film for Valentine’s Day. The movie with the most votes will be shown on the big screen on the evening of Friday 14 February 2014. Audiences can vote for their favourite romantic film online now at www.tynesidecinema.co.uk/love. Voting closes on Thursday 30 January and the winning film will be announced on Tuesday 4 February. This is the sixth year Tyneside Cinema has invited audiences to vote for their favourite film for Valentine’s Day, and previous years have seen a diverse range of winners, including Amélie, Once, Before Sunrise, The Notebook and When Harry Met Sally. Everyone who attends the screening of the North East’s favourite romantic film on Valentine’s Day will receive complimentary luxury chocolates courtesy of Hotel Chocolat. A selection of special Valentine’s Day themed cocktails will also be available in the Tyneside Bar. Film fans looking for something a bit different this Valentine’s Day can enjoy a special preview of director Jim Jarmusch's unconventional romance Only Lovers Left Alive starring Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston, or catch the sci-fi love story Her which opens on Friday 14 February and has just been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. Tyneside Cinema is also screening three films for free as part of its Alternative Love Stories week in the Tyneside Bar on Tuesday 11, Thursday 13 and Friday 14 February.
