VINCENT AND FLAVIA’S MIDNIGHT TANGO RETURNS TO NEWCASTLE ON LAST LEG OF RECORD BREAKING TOUR.

The stars of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace will be hot stepping it to the Theatre Royal 13 - 18 May ’13 as part of their third and final Midnight Tango tour. The sensational Olivier nominated show is back in Newcastle following a record breaking year of performances, including a massive sell-out success here last Spring.  Fresh from her victory with Olympic champion Louis Smith, on BBC 1’s Strictly Come Dancing in December, Flavia Cacace is reunited with her professional dance partner, Vincent Simone, for the third consecutive year, in their highly successful, record-breaking show, Midnight Tango.  Since the show first began in April 2011, it has sold nearly 500,000 tickets throughout the UK and Ireland, meaning almost half a million people to date have been seduced by Vincent and Flavia's hot and sensual show. Produced by Arlene Phillips and Adam Spiegel, Midnight Tango is set in a late-night bar in downtown Buenos Aires, and brings to life all the drama, sensuality and elegance of the tango. In the show, the audience is taken on a journey into the heart of this intoxicating city, as danger and excitement, joy and jealousy, pain and passion combine into a spectacular and explosive evening. The show was a huge success when it came to Newcastle Theatre Royal last April, and box office sales for this, the third and final tour (including the Newcastle leg) show no signs of slowing.
