Vampire Rabbit Launches The Rabbit Hole: A New Underground Bar Space & Piano Bar Inside the Legendary Cocktail Venue's Vaults

On Friday, September 19th, the now legendary cocktail destination Vampire Rabbit will unveil The Rabbit Hole - a new underground bar and piano lounge hidden within the atmospheric vaults and strong rooms of the historic building.
Open every Friday and Saturday night until late, The Rabbit Hole promises an immersive experience. At its heart is a Piano Bar Lounge, where guests can gather around a piano and enjoy timeless piano classics performed live, all while sipping exquisite cocktails in the quirky surroundings. A nod to the bars name, vampiric artwork with a ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme will be displayed in the lounge.
Tucked within The Rabbit Hole is Bar Diablerio, an intimate, French Baroque-inspired hideaway. Bathed in moody shades of dusty pink and gold, with ornate baroque details and glittering chandeliers, this sultry space invites cocktail enthusiasts to watch Vampire Rabbit’s experienced bartenders craft their signature creations.
For those seeking a more secluded retreat, the underground leather-padded vault offers a cosy, luxurious escape. As with the main bar, The Rabbit Hole delivers a full guest experience – from a warm welcome at the door to attentive table service throughout the night.
Vampire Rabbit’s bold, experimental cocktail menu is the creation of bartender Kyle Elwis and his acclaimed team. Highlights include the Bento Box, a mix of Homemade Smoked Absolut Vodka, Cocchi Extra Dry, Ginger Liqueur, Homemade Onion Shrub and Homemade Umami Bitters; the fiery Pomegranate Picante; the Lucky Strike made with Strawberry Infused Mezcal and Campari, and the Chocolate & Banana Negronii, a sweet, exotic Banana Peel Rum with Cocchi Torino, Aperol, Briottet Cacao Blanc and Chocolate Bitters.
Commenting on the launch of The Rabbit Hole, director Oliver Knox said: “With The Rabbit Hole, we wanted to create something truly immersive - an escape beneath the city where every detail, every note, and every sip transports you. It’s not just a bar; it’s an experience carved from the bones of this historic building. Whether you're drawn to the music, the cocktails, or the quiet corners of Bar Diablerio, there's a little magic waiting underground for everyone.”
Launching on the 19th September 2025, The Rabbit Hole will be open every Friday and Saturday night until late. Vampire Rabbit is open from 12 noon - 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with an earlier close of midnight throughout the rest of the week.
