Unique Outdoor Dining Pods Set to Return to Newcastle’s Quayside this Winter

The Dining Society Presents... Christmas Tyne

The popular festive dining experience, Christmas Tyne, will be returning to Wesley Square on Newcastle’s Quayside this winter, offering customers a safe haven from the cold nights where they can enjoy seasonal food and drink with family and friends.

Looking out over the stunning views of Newcastle’s iconic bridges, the custom-made transparent dining pods - complete with indoor heating, a personal speaker system and free Wi-Fi - will be pitching up on the 27th November on the former site of the ‘Quayside Seaside’, opposite the Newcastle Law Courts.

The Pods, which allow groups to dine in their own private restaurant for the evening, will be a welcome retreat for friends and families who have missed parties and special occasions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hosting up to ten guests per pod, diners will have the chance to enjoy a seasonal three-course meal over an hour and a half, with prices starting from £29 per person.

Organised by event promotion company, The Dining Society, Christmas Tyne has established itself as a mainstay on Newcastle’s Christmas calendar since its launch in 2018, which attracted over 50,000 people.

Bookings will be on sale from Friday 19th June from 10 am.
