Tup Tup Palace Comes of Age
A Newcastle venue – the go-to haunt of visiting celebrities- will this weekend (13 Dec) celebrate its 18th birthday.
Tup Tup Palace at St Nicholas’ Street has built up a cult following since it opened its doors in 2007, for both its iconic club nights and as the place to see and be seen.
And now it is marking its coming of age with a special event featuring a DJ set by Doc Junior and CJ Beats.
The fun kicks off tomorrow (Sat) with the club dressed for the occasion.
Over the years Tup Tup Palace has earned its reputation as an icon of the legendary Tyneside nightclub scene and has played host to everyone from 50 Cent to Drake, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West and Ed Sheeran.
Nigel Holliday, co-owner of the club said it should be a night to remember.
“We couldn’t let this landmark pass without a celebration,” he said.
“We are one of the longest standing venues in the city and we wanted to remind everyone of that fact and of course hang on to that iconic status.
“It’s a real milestone and we’re very proud of how far we’ve come.”
Tup Tup Palace is home to a whole host of brands which hold weekly events, including LoveDough, Playground, Jungle, Paradis and Smile
It’s also the go-to venue for national names such as Loosedays as well as Tyneside’s leading promoters: Stage One, Joe Brack and Adian Savage.
Rooms for private hire and cocktail masterclasses are just some of the additional offerings at the club, along with its much loved sunken booth which sits up to 15 people and VIP booths.
