The North-East’s own rising star is set to shine in her first headline performance….

The region has always been renowned for turning out fantastic talent, but for one north easterner – starring as the headline performer was a pipe dream that is about to come true. Annabel Pattinson, who is signed to Moulin Music Management will perform at Newcastle’s Bonbar on Sunday 17th May with her full band - a night which will also see the celebration of the release of her fist single Nice to Meet You, on iTunes. Annabel, who started playing guitar at eight and wrote her first song at the age of just 12, was awarded the songwriter of the year while at Gateshead College and on graduation was offered a number of recording contracts. The north-east native started performing her own songs along with covers and supported her dad’s band at 13. Her “genuine” singing style has received praise from music personalities such as Bruce Findlay, manager of the fantastic Simple Minds. Now, with the help of manager Alex Roland of Moulin Music Management, the gifted singer-songwriter is set to hit the top billing for the first time, supported by other regional talents. 2015 has already seen Annabel perform several solo performances, including a sell-out gig supporting soul legend Alexander O’Neal and the VIP launch party for Chez Mal at the Malmaison Hotel, Newcastle. Annabel’s big night will see her song Nice to Meet You hit iTunes, giving those from outside the region and even the country the chance to see - and hear - what the hype from the north is all about. Having performed at some iconic venues already, Annabel is set to add the O2 Academy in Newcastle to that in September, as the 5th sees her supporting The Waiters. Tickets for Annabel Pattinson at Bonbar Newcastle on Sunday 17th May are priced at £6.00 and can be bought at www.ticketweb.co.uk
