SUNSHINE SOIREE in support of The Evening Chronicle’s ‘Sunshine Fund’

SUNSHINE SOIREE in support of The Evening Chronicle’s ‘Sunshine Fund’ AVEIKA RESTAURANT & LATE BAR QUAYSIDE, NEWCASTLE WEDNESDAY 11TH MAY   In celebration of their new Summer Menu, Aveika have invited guests to join them to indulge in the delights of their cuisine & cocktails in support of local charity ‘Sunshine Fund’.   The ‘Sunshine Soiree’ encourages guests to enjoy the hospitality of Aveika and ‘pay what they feel’. Those enjoying Aveika’s contemporary Japanese cuisine are invited to ignore the menu price and instead pay whatever they think their food was worth.   The amount paid by each table will then by matched by AVEIKA and the total collected at the end of the day will be donated to the Sunshine Fund. Rachelle Jacques of Gainford Hotels which is the company behind Aveika, said, “We are delighted to be supporting such a fantastic local charity and look forward to working with them on many events in the future. The work they do is inspiring, and it’s always nice to know that it directly benefits the local community.” “We also want to give a big thank you to our wonderful suppliers Matthew Clark, Freeman Catering, Hodgson Fish & C&S Vegetables, who have generously supported this fantastic event.”   About Aveika… Launching in the heart of the Quayside just 6 months ago Aveika successfully offers customers a dining, drinking and dancing experience all under one roof.   Our style of food is a modern interpretation of traditional Japanese cuisine, where the emphasis is centered on creating a harmony of flavours. The venue is dramatic in design and application. From the lights, through the dance floor, to your glass - mixologists craft cocktails echoing Aveika’s charm - a little bit of something special that you love, fused with a little bit more of something that you haven’t fallen for yet. Since opening Aveika has played host to a wealth of high profile guests including Tinie Tempah, Celebrity Big Brother winner Scotty T & Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez.
