SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D: The Great Jelly Rescue: New 4-D Motion Ride at Life

The world’s most famous sponge is coming to Life Science Centre this Easter for a 4-D adventure like no other!
From Friday, 3 April, ‘SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D, The Great Jelly Rescue’ will be showing on the Centre’s 4D Motion Ride*.
Riders will be taken on a on a wildly hilarious 4-D adventure with SpongeBob and friends as they careen through Bikini Bottom, run afoul of the Flying Dutchman and face off against the villainous Plankton while on a mission to rescue the jellyfish of Jellyfish Fields!
Ian Simmons, Director of Science Communication at Life said: “Our Motion Ride is a hugely popular experience among visitors and this new film will not disappoint – it’s packed full of thrills and adventure!”
He added: “The film’s adventure starts when the villainous Plankton abducts all the Jellyfish with his pollution-belching contraption, it is up to SpongeBob SquarePants to save the day! With his friends in tow, SpongeBob takes us all on a rollicking adventure to free the Jellyfish and destroy Plankton’s terrible machine.”
Other activities at Life over the Easter holiday period (3 April – 18 April) include: the NEW Experiment Zone, where visitors can step into the shoes of real scientists and carry out experiments including DNA extraction. The wonders of the night sky can be explored in Britain’s most popular planetarium and learn about the wonder of stem cells in the Super Cells: The Power of the Cell exhibition.
Over Easter weekend, (Friday 3 - Monday 6 April) there’ll be Chocolate Heaven workshops exploring the nation’s favourite sweet treat and from Tuesday 7 - Sunday 19 April, The Big Drop sessions let visitors build flying objects and test how it drops to the floor from the ceiling – will it plunge, flutter or float?
