Sip Sip Hooray – Newcastle Cocktail Week Is Nearly Here and Organisers Expect ‘More Growth Than Ever’ in 2026!

Geordies and visitors, get ready to shake, stir, and sip your way through the north's biggest Cocktail Week bringing the best-deal cocktails from £5 with the hottest venues signing up.

Returning for the fourth time over two years, and running from Friday March 20 to 29, 2026, Newcastle is ready to welcome the beginnings of spring into a vibrant playground for cocktail enthusiasts, offering a blend of experiences, unlimited discounts and exclusive deals at the biggest event to hit the north.

The 10-day extravaganza will feature some of the city's most renowned restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs, each bringing their unique flair to the celebration with £5-£7 cocktails and the biggest and best venues signed up for all the action.

Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or a casual sipper, there's something for your entire party to enjoy.

Event organisers behind the fun are forecasting “even more for 2026” with “lots of incredible growth” as more iconic venues are being announced in the lead up to the spring event. Encouraging further footfall into the city centre, the event will also help attendees uncover new bars while shining a light on some of Newcastle’s favourite locals, too.

Anyone with a Newcastle Cocktail Week wristband will be able to take advantage of the several delicious discounts that will be available throughout. All venues will offer cocktails from between £5 - £7 and some will have discounts on food bills, two-for-one drinks and more. The most exciting part though? Discovering each venue’s signature cocktail exclusively for the event’s wristband wearers.

Plus, new for 2026, visitors can also enjoy a delicious signature mocktail option in each venue, too. The Slug and Lettuce’s Designated Dolphin is gorgeous with passion fruit flavours and The Geordie Star’s Yer Da Sells Avon is not only hilariously-named but delicious with elderflower notes.

Iconic bars already announced include Vampire Rabbit, Barluga, Passing Clouds, Above, Colonel Porter’s Emporium, Louie’s Liquor Store, Victors and Twenty Twenty with more joining in the lead up, and event partner this year is The Gate, Newcastle’s premier place to eat, drink, shop and have fun.

Cocktail connoisseurs shouldn’t miss the Bubblegum Daiquiri at Revolution, Simply the Zest at Colonel Porter’s Emporium and the Pink Lane Sour in The Town Wall to name a few favourites.

And it’s not just the drinks that your wristband unlocks. Don’t miss the delicious food deals across lots of the venues, too, including 20% of the main menu at Bar+Block, Motel Mexicana is offering three tacos and a side for just £15 and Ask Italian is offering 20% off your food bill. Plus, don’t miss Tickets Bar’s brand-new Chicken Club Sandwich with fries – yours for just £10 with a wristband.

Early bird discount wristbands are available and priced from £9.95 plus a booking fee , advance discount are £12.95 plus booking fee and the final release tickets are priced at £14.95 with booking fee. There is also a discount for groups of four or more, with tickets just £7.95 each, plus booking fee. All wristbands can be purchased online at newcastlecocktailweek.co.uk.
