Shoppers Delight at Giant Balloon Displays Inside intu Eldon Square

Shoppers visiting intu Eldon Square are in for an almighty surprise, with over eighty balloon displays installed on the malls.

A huge variety of vibrant and colourful balloon installations, created by North East company Balloon-ilicious, now cover the entire shopping centre and will be on display throughout April.

With the use of colour and repetition of circular patterns found to be contributing factors to spreading joy, intu Eldon Square hope the balloon displays will create an immersive shopping experience with lots of smiles expected from those visiting the centre.

A giant ‘balloon photo wall’ will provide the ideal Instagram moment at the entrance of Grey’s Quarter with visitors encouraged to share their pictures for the chance to win a £100 intu Gift Card plus a balloon installation of their own, courtesy of Balloon-ilicious. 

To enter, shoppers must tag @intueldonsquare in their selfie snaps on social media to be in with a chance to win. 

The balloon displays further highlight intu Eldon Square’s support of positive mental health within the North East, as it recently announced Tyneside and Northumberland Mind as its Charity of the Year for 2019.
