Pret a Manger is Expanding in Newcastle with New Shop at Eldon Square
Pret A Manger, famous for its freshly made food and organic coffee, is opening its newest shop on Eldon Square in Newcastle just in time for Christmas.
Opening on the 20th December in the popular shopping destination, the shop will be Pret’s second in Newcastle, joining the Pret on Northumberland Street. It also marks Pret’s 25th opening with franchise partner Exultant Group.
Locals and visitors alike will be able to enjoy Pret’s menu of freshly made sandwiches, salads, hot-food, snacks and baked foods, all hand-made in the shop’s kitchen each day using only the highest quality ingredients. That includes Pret favourites like the Chicken Caesar Bacon Baguette, Humous & Falafel Mezze Salad, Posh Cheddar & Pickle Baguette and the Five Berry Bowl, or customers can opt for Pret’s famous and delicious Christmas menu.
Organic coffees, teas and other hot and iced drinks, all prepared by Pret’s skilled Baristas, will be on offer too. Club Pret will also be available, which allows customers to enjoy 50% off up to five Barista-prepared hot or iced drinks a day for £5 a month.
There is seating for up to 100 customers to sit and enjoy their meal, or Pret’s wide menu can also be delivered to local customers via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat.
The new shop will create 15 new jobs for the local community and as with all Pret shops, any unsold freshly made food will be donated to those most in need via The Pret Foundation.
The shop will be open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, 8:30am – 6pm on Saturday’s and 10am – 4:30pm on Sunday’s.
