NORTH EAST HOTEL MEANS BUSINESS …
A Newcastle hotel, which has proved a big hit with leisure guests and diners, is now planning to mix business with pleasure.
The Grey Street Hotel, Grey Street, Newcastle, has unveiled a raft of facilities designed to appeal to corporate clients in search of a meeting or event venue.
The hotel, owned by the Newcastle-based Malhotra Group, is undergoing a phased refurbishment and now offers a selection of fully fitted function and conference rooms with full audio visual connectivity and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Corporate packages are also available for clients wishing to host team building activities, interviews, networking events and social events, along with access to local gyms and discounted spa treatments at nearby venues.
The hotel is also served by the Living Room restaurant, which is popular in its own right and, over the coming months, the rolling refurbishment programme will result in the further remodelling of bedrooms.
