Jeab Prapunwong, owner of Mantra Thai, said: “The Great North Run is such an iconic event in the region and we think that runners should be rewarded for taking on the challenge as it isn’t easy – something I know having completed the run a number of times myself.
“A lot of effort goes into preparing for the event, including training and often raising funds for charity, so we want to say well done to successful runners the best way we know how - by offering a tasty reward, including a free starter of free dessert, or a free children’s meal for young runners.”
