Newcastle Castle Tourist Information Hub

There’s something new to discover at Newcastle Castle, where a Tourist Information Hub has just opened inside the Black Gate. Run by a brilliant team of volunteers, it’s a friendly, informal space where visitors can drop in, ask questions, and get to know both the Castle and the wider city a little better. The Tourist Information Hub is open to everyone and free to use!

So, whether you're curious about the best places to eat or drink, want recommendations on attractions or activities, or you're feeling a little lost and trying to find your way around, the Tourist Information Hub is there to make sure everyone gets the most out of their time in the North East.

The Castle is also inviting local businesses and organisations to get involved by dropping off flyers, maps, and other materials to share with tourists. The aim is to build a more connected and supportive local network, using the hub as a space to showcase what Newcastle, adn the North East, has to offer and bring the community together.
