Newcastle businesses invited to take on city challenge in support of Child Brain Injury Trust
Businesses across Newcastle are being invited to swap the boardroom for the streets of the city this Summer as part of a unique fundraising challenge supporting the Child Brain Injury Trust.
Organised by Burnetts, A Chance for Life, and Carter Burnett., Race Around Newcastle will take place on Thursday 2nd July and will see teams navigate their way around Newcastle city centre, solving clues and completing challenges inspired by the popular television series ‘Race Across the World’.
The event aims to raise vital funds for the Child Brain Injury Trust, a national charity that supports children, young people and families affected by acquired brain injury.
Teams of four will set off from Burnetts’ Citygate office and compete against the clock to solve a series of clues, in search of the finish line.
Participants can enter as a team or sign up individually and be matched with others on the day.
The challenge has been designed to bring together businesses from across the North East while raising awareness and funds for a cause that makes a significant difference to families facing the life-changing impact of childhood brain injury.
Hannah Fitzpatrick, Serious Injury Partner at Burnetts said:
"Race Around Newcastle is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to come together for a worthwhile cause while enjoying a fun and engaging challenge in the heart of the city. We are proud to support the Child Brain Injury Trust and hope to see teams from across the North East taking part."
Entry costs £200 per team of four or £50 per individual participant, with all proceeds supporting the Child Brain Injury Trust.
