New Year’s Eve Celebration at Sage Gateshead

If we're totally honest, we can't wait for 2016 to be over! And what better way to welcome the New Year than celebrating in style at Sage Gateshead.

They are preparing to open their doors for what is set to be the biggest New Year’s Eve party in the North East, with American rhythm and blues rockers Vintage Trouble headlining this six hour New Year’s Eve extravaganza.

Opening the evening is Big Boss Man, and after what promises to be a performance to remember from the mighty Vintage Trouble, the party will continue into the early hours across the venue with DJ sets, music on the Concourse and a Northern Soul Room. Revellers can welcome in the New Year with a complimentary midnight drink and views of the fireworks over the Tyne. Party goers can also dine in style with a sumptuous six course dinner complete with wine, coffee, and liqueur truffles.

Vintage Trouble have wowed audiences across the globe opening for heavyweights like The Rolling Stones, The Who and AC/DC and are making a welcome return to the iconic venue for an exclusive New Year’s Eve performance. Lead singer Ty Taylor explains why.

“We have been crossing off the days until we get to share some new music, hug it out and toast to the sky at one of our favourite venues of all time, Sage Gateshead. We will not only be raising glasses but aiming to raise the needle on the trouble metre.”
