Solstice and House of Tides Retain AA Rosettes

The AA Hospitality Awards 2026 took place on Monday, 21 September 2026 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London.

The AA Rosette Awards 2026 celebrate the UK’s most exceptional restaurants, raising the bar for excellence across the industry.

During the awards ceremony, the teams from Solstice and House of Tides learned that they had both successfully retained their respective AA Red Rosettes for Culinary Excellence for another year. Solstice retained its four rosettes, first awarded in 2025, while House of Tides retained its three rosettes, first awarded in 2017.

Each year, the AA Hospitality Awards celebrate excellence across the UK’s hospitality sector. This year’s event marked both the 29th year of the awards and the 70th anniversary of the AA Rosette culinary recognition programme. During the evening proceedings, the winners of six major award categories were announced, including AA Housekeeper of the Year, AA Rising Star Award, AA Sustainable Award, AA Spa Hotel of the Year and AA Chefs’ Chef of the Year 2026. The latter is a peer-voted award among AA Rosette holders.

Commenting on retaining three AA Rosettes for both House of Tides and four AA Rosettes for Solstice, Kenny Atkinson said: ‘’To have both House of Tides and Solstice retain their AA Rosettes at the same time made the evening even really special. Awards like this reflect the incredible teams behind both restaurants, whose commitment, creativity, and consistency continue to push us forward. I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.’’

The recognition comes as the AA marks 70 years of the AA Rosette programme, which continues to celebrate culinary excellence and recognise restaurants demonstrating exceptional standards across the UK. The retention of three AA Rosettes by House of Tides and four AA Rosettes by Solstice marks a significant evening for the teams behind both restaurants and also celebrates their continued contribution to the UK hospitality industry.
