New Look Las Iguanas on Grey Street Celebrates Its Opening in Style

Following the success of the new Las Iguanas on Quayside, the South American restaurant and bar group have spruced up their branch on Grey Street with a £100,000 refurbishment, the completion of which guests celebrated during an evening of classic Brazilian cocktails, and their special Carioca menu.
The ground floor restaurant and bar has benefited from comfy new furniture and upholstery, refinished timber walls and floors and a stunning feature wall. The basement dining room sports new lighting and decorative timber walls.
Las Iguanas on Grey Street remains one of the country’s most popular locations within the group and general manager, Caroline relishes the chance to introduce the new look interiors to existing and new customers: “We opened to the public on the 4th August, just in time for the opening ceremony at the Olympics in Rio de Janiero. It’s been a whirlwind of activity, and we’ve been welcoming guests who really want to get in the spirit of Rio – we’re just delighted with the response and look forward to celebrating the UK’s haul of medals in the next few weeks!”
