NE1 LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR THE FACE OF NE1’S NEWCASTLE FASHION WEEK 2014

NE1’s NEWCASTLE FASHION WEEK 9 – 17^TH MAY 2014 The search is on to find the face of NE1’s Newcastle Fashion Week 2014.  Now in its 4^th year, NE1’s Newcastle Fashion Week showcases the fashion industry in Newcastle and the north east from the best of retail through to the award winning fashion and design departments at the city’s Northumbria University and Newcastle College. This year, organisers NE1 Ltd have decided to include a new element into the programme and launch a model search for the person who will be the ‘face’ of the event.  The winner will star in the advertising campaign which will be used to promote the week-long event which this year will be held from 9^th- 17^th May. Applications are invited from over 18s, male and female would-be models for their chance to star in the NE1 Newcastle Fashion Week 2014 photo campaign.  The winner will not only have their face emblazoned across banners, posters and the event programme but will also take part in fashion catwalk shows throughout Fashion Week, as well as receiving a modelling contract with North East model agency, Boho Models, the official model agency of NE1’s NFW 2014. Anyone interested in applying should log on to www.bohomodels.co.uk to complete the application form.  A recent head and shoulder profile picture together with a full length body shot will be required with all images being un-retouched.  Applicants should be over 5’ 7” for women and 5’9” for men. A shortlist of finalists will be selected to attend a casting day on MONDAY 24 FEBRUARY 2014 with the overall winner chosen by a judging panel including Sandra Tang, Marketing and Events Manager at NE1 Ltd and Alisia Murphy, Casting Director at Boho Models.  The winner will need to be available for the campaign studio photo-shoot which will take place in Newcastle on MONDAY 3 MARCH 2014 when a team of hair and make-up artists together with stylists will transform the winner into the Face of...NE1’s Newcastle Fashion Week 2014.
