Join Alice in Wonderland for free family fun at intu Eldon Square, don’t be late for a very important date!

Looking for something fun to do with the family over the Easter school holiday?

Newcastle’s intu Eldon Square will be transforming part of the shopping mall into a magically-themed Alice in Wonderland area during the Easter school holiday. Visitors will be invited to take a trip down the rabbit hole for crazy croquet, magical stories, and a mad tea party during a two day adventure that gets curiouser and curiouser!

The free fun begins on Wednesday 11 April (11am- 4pm) with ‘A right royal game of croquet’, where shoppers will be invited to challenge The Queen of Hearts- luckily everybody gets to keep their heads!

On Thursday 12 April (11am- 4pm) there’s a celebratory un-birthday ‘Par-Tea’ where youngsters can enjoy mad stories, decorate biscuits and experiment with magical potions.

Vikki Mather, intu Eldon Square’s acting marketing manager, said:

“We’re very much looking forward to welcoming the colourful characters from this Lewis Carroll classic into the centre. The Mad Hatter, The Queen of Hearts and Alice will all be on hand to entertain children and make magical memories for families visiting intu Eldon Square during the Easter break. I’m especially looking forward to the un-birthday par-tea, as the Hatter said: ‘It’s always tea time!’”

Round up the kids and be sure not to miss out on an afternoon in wonderland!
