Great Pottery Throw down Judge Keith Brymer-Jones to Share Stories of Life, Clay and Everything on Mother’s Day

Renowned British designer, bestselling author and the Great Pottery Throw Down judge, Keith Byrmer-Jones will share stores from his fascinating life in Newcastle this Mother’s Day. If you’re looking for the perfect gift for the pottery lover in your life, look no further!

Performing at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House on Sunday 10th March 2024, Byrmer-Jones will take audiences through his unique life trajectory in Life, Clay and Everything – from a dancer, a front man in a band to becoming a judge on the Great Pottery Throw Down. Airing series 7 this year, The Great Pottery Throw Down has been a hit since 2015, where audiences take on multiple challenges a week to create the best ceramic creation to stay in the competition.

From making his first pottery object at 11, Byrmer-Jones showed a talent for all things ceramics. During his one-off live experience, he’ll be giving an exclusive on-stage demonstration at his much-loved pottery wheel and sharing his top tips about working with clay. Alongside this, he’ll be discussing his personal life, filled with memorable moments that have made his life so interesting, leading up to his career in TV.

Joining Keith Byrmer-Jones is his wife Marj Hogarth, the actress most known for Fags, Mags and Bags. Join the couple in a live show like no other, in a creative evening that’ll be filled with Life, Clay and Everything. What could be a better way to spend Mother’s Day than in a Grade I listed venue discussing all things pottery?

Theatre Director Joanne Johnson states, “Keith Brymer-Jones is going to take our audience on a creative adventure, filled with pottery and tips and tricks. It’s an exciting addition to our line-up, and we can’t wait to welcome the Great Pottery Throw Down star to our stage.”

Tickets are £36.50 - £26.50 plus fees and tickets can be purchased from: https://www.tynetheatreandoperahouse.uk/portfolio/keith-brymer-jones/
