Four Quarters, the UK’s Original Arcade Bar, Presents Nostalgia-Packed Weekly Gaming Events

End this week on a high at Four Quarters Newcastle for a night raising money for the gaming charity SpecialEffect. 

From 5pm on Friday 6 October, collaborating with Ubisoft Reflections and Radical Forge, Four Quarters will be offering 10% off all drinks, the chance to take part in retro games tournaments and a raffle with exclusive games-related prizes. All money spent on arcade coins will go to SpecialEffect, along with a percentage of the night's bar takings. The venue offers nearly 30 full-sized arcade games, plus retros to play.

Guests are invited to gather with friends and visit the UK’s original arcade bar, Four Quarters Newcastle. Offering endless sought-after games, this unique nostalgia-packed game bar hosts several fun-filled events for friends each week. With over 30 arcade games including Time Crisis 3, Sega Rally, Street Fighter 2, pinball machines and Guitar Hero, visitors can work up their scores as they embark on a blast from the past with authentic arcade machines and consoles from the 80s through to the 00s.

Every Tuesday

Music fans are invited to get their Pop Punk Pizza Party on! Every Tuesday, arcade bar Four Quarters Newcastle will be hosting a pizza party for all pop punk lovers. A night full of drinks at affordable prices, freshly cooked pizza, rocking music, and endless competitive games.

Every Wednesday

Bringing together hot sauce lovers and quiz champs, every Wednesday Four Quarters Newcastle serves up the ultimate challenge with their ‘Hot Ones Quiz’. Guests are tasked to complete a quiz guaranteed to raise the heat as they answer a series of questions, followed by a sample of hot sauce. After each round the stakes are raised as an even hotter sauce comes into play!

Four Quarters offers a range of classic games, delightful drinks, and a variety of spaces for parties and events.

All of Four Quarters machines run on US quarters, which can be purchased for £2 for 4, or £7 for 15. Console games are free to play if they are not already booked, to avoid disappointment book ahead and receive exclusive use. Consoles include N64, Megadrive, Gamecube, PS2 and more- all original and with a carefully curated line up of the classics!
