Managing Director Alex Wright explains: “We no longer have enough room in our stock room to house all our inventory. We were literally needing to climb over boxes of Boxing Gloves, Shinguards and Shorts to get to our desks so it was time to move to bigger premises that can actually fit all of our stock, as it is only going to increase in the coming months. We also saw the need to display a greater range for our North Eastern customers who are travelling from as far south as North Yorkshire and as far North as the borders to buy their MMA & Boxing equipment.” The rise in demand for combat sports gear has seen a big increase over recent years, there has been a huge rise in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) over the past 10 years, that has seen gyms popping up all over the North East and producing hundreds of amateur and professional fighters in the region. Fightstoremma imports top of the range equipment and clothing from all over the world, from Canada to Thailand, USA to Brazil for customers who practice a range of sports from more traditional sports like Boxing, Judo, Karate, and Tae Kwon Do, to sports like Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts.
