Essential Thyme opens Therapy Clinic in City Centre
Sandra Hope, a Complementary Therapist and owner of Essential Thyme is expanding her therapy business and opening a clinic within Yogalilies on Pilgrim Street, Newcastle upon Tyne from the 1st July 2014. To celebrate the opening of the clinic, Sandra is offering a discount of £5 off clients’ first appointment during July and August.
Essential Thyme has been offering therapies in the west end of Newcastle and Gosforth since 2011, and has assisted clients aged from 18 to 90, with a range of medical conditions including arthritis, stress, fatigue, back pain and headaches. Sandra is keen to help spread the word how regular massage can help with symptom or pain management for a range of conditions and can work well alongside mainstream medicine.
Sandra has a Foundation Degree in Complementary Health Care which specialised in Clinical Aromatherapy. Since qualifying she has expanded her range of therapies and is now qualified in Indian Head, Hands Free, Warm Bamboo, Crystal Tranquillity, Thai Foot, Advanced Aromatherapy and Advanced Massage Techniques. She is also a Massage in Schools/Peer Massage Instructor and an IMPACT Wellbeing Instructor. Currently, Sandra is studying courses in Mindfulness, Meditation, Aromatherapy for the Menopause and Nutrition.
She is a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA), Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and is registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). This is a voluntary self-regulated body that was set up by the government to protect the public.
In addition to the therapies Sandra is also an Independent Consultant for Neal’s Yard Remedies and a distributor of Forever Living Aloe Vera based products.
