St. James' Park to host Fontaines D.C. stadium concert in summer 2027
Fontaines D.C. will play a major summer concert at St. James’ Park on Thursday 1 July 2027, marking the Irish rock band’s first-ever stadium performance in the North East.
The BRIT award winners have built a reputation as one of the most compelling live acts of their generation, headlining a growing list of iconic venues across Europe and North America.
Now, the group - shortlisted for the Mercury Prize in Newcastle last year - will return to Tyneside next summer for a marquee performance as part of a five-date run of outdoor headline shows.
Having sold out their entire UK arena tour, the outdoor shows kick off in Cardiff next summer and span dates across major cities. Highlights include nights in London, Manchester and Glasgow with Newcastle’s St. James’ Park standing out as the exclusive North East venue.
