Distribution - Soliton

This stunning live album was recorded on 5thDecember 2010 in the Concert Studio S-1 at the Polish Radio Szczecin. The warm welcome and positive comments resulted in the band deciding to release the album "LIVE" “LIVE” is a new collection of their songs which provide the listener with really remarkable music because of the way the shanties are delivered – rich in harmony and sophisticated, sometimes surprising but still sung in a traditional way. BRASY were formed in February 2008 and their live performances were really remarkable because of the way their shanties were delivered – rich in harmony and sophistication, sometimes surprising with superb chord connection. These elements together with the perfect intonation and sound can define Brasy at their best. The members of Brasy are as follows: Yoku, Wolf, Kawa, Siwy and Słowik. Brasy have gained many awards in their home country of Poland, including well known competitions held in Białystok, Sosnowiec and Kraków. Since then, the band has been invited to many festivals across Europe including Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Great Britain. So far Brasy have released three albums: ROLLING HOME which includes sixteen traditional shanties sung in English; SINGLE with 4 songs and the enclosed LIVE album which includes sixteen of their most popular pieces recorded during a live Polish Radio session.
