Celebrity stars to launch the jewel in Newcastle’s nightlife crown

A top Newcastle nightspot is set to dazzle the city’s partygoers with the celebrity-studded launch of a decadent bar next month. Tiger Tiger, located within The Gate complex, is opening Jewel Bar, a stylish cocktail bar and brand new restaurant, as part of a £410,000 ground floor refurbishment scheme, with new VIP areas, group booth seating, opulent decor and three private dining pods. To celebrate the opening, Tiger Tiger will be holding two launch parties on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 February, featuring star DJs, free giveaways, prizes and live entertainment. A free champagne reception will be available from 5pm on both nights. On Friday February 8, popstar Kimberly Wyatt (judge on Sky1’s Got to Dance) and DJ Kenzie will headline in Jewel Bar, while on Saturday February 9, Marvin Humes from JLS and Hed Kandi DJ Krystal Roxx will top the bill. A special happy hour will take place from 5pm- 9pm on both nights, where all drinks will have 50% off. There will also be 50% off the a la carte restaurant menu on Friday evening.
