Caffe Vivo Recognised as 'Local Gem' in the Latest UK Good Food Guide
Great news for famed Newcastle eatery as Newcastle restaurant Caffe Vivo has been listed for the 10th time in the latest UK Good Food Guide, along with a small group of other Newcastle restaurants. Huge congratulations to everyone at 21 Hospitality!
The Italian restaurant located in Trinity Gardens, Quayside has also been recognised as a 'Local Gem' by the guide for the 3rd time. Venues are only listed as 'Local Gems' when they are seen as "the perfect neighbourhood venues, delivering good, freshly cooked food at great value for money."
Caffe Vivo is part of the Newcastle-based 21 Hospitality Group, run and owned by renowned chef and restaurateur Terry Laybourne. His flagship Quayside restaurant 21 along with his nearby pub The Broad Chare were also listed in the latest Good Food Guide.
Terry Laybourne said: "Awards are always great for the kitchen and front of house team who work so hard aiming to consistently provide great food and service. It's particularly satisfying when awards are based on the feedback of diners. With rising competition around Newcastle it's a real pleasure to have three of our restaurants in the Good Food Guide and Caffe Vivo cited as a Local Gem".
