The British Fashion Council Announces City Wide Celebration in Newcastle

• City Wide Celebration in Newcastle will run from Friday 26th September to Tuesday 30th September taking place at Fenwick and Eldon Square
• Fenwick will continue the BFC’s City Wide Celebration and host the final event of the ‘At Home With’ panel series, presented by 1664 Blanc — a new series of inspiring, designer-led talks spotlighting regional talent and the cultural impact of UK fashion beyond London
• Newcastle heritage brand Barbour will headline this special designer panel, taking place at Fenwick on Tuesday 30th September, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
• Eldon Square will host a one-day activation of immersive experiences as part of the BFC’s City Wide Celebration in partnership with Sunderland Software City

The British Fashion Council (BFC) is delighted to announce the return of City Wide Celebration (CWC), a curated programme of unique experiences and activations open to the public throughout September across London, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle. 

CWC brings together designers, retailers, cultural institutions, and premium hospitality venues to celebrate the very best of the UK. Through a dynamic events programme, the initiative bridges culture and commerce, driving nationwide retail engagement and growth while deepening the fashion conversation through cross-sector collaboration and meaningful public participation. 

This year, CWC launches ‘At Home With’ presented by 1664 Blanc, a series of talks and panel discussions spotlighting the cultural and geographic roots of some of Britain’s most celebrated designers. As Principal Partner of London Fashion Week, 1664 Blanc is proud to continue its ongoing commitment to championing emerging designers and making LFW more accessible to a broader audience, both in the capital and nationwide. 

Newcastle's headline event, ‘At Home With’ presented by 1664 Blanc, will take place at Fenwick on Tuesday 30th September from 6:30pm-8pm. The panel will bring together celebrated designers for an intimate conversation exploring how Newcastle’s unique spirit and culture continue to shape and inspire creative talent. All other events, promotions and activations taking place in Fenwick and at participating stores in Eldon Square are free and open for the public to attend. The full CWC schedule will be announced later this summer.
