André Rieu announces his return to Newcastle in April 2021

André Rieu is thrilled to announce his return to Newcastle in April 2021. The Dutch “King of Waltz” who has made classical music accessible to everybody, will bring his Johann Strauss Orchestra to the Utilita Arena Newcastle on 20. April 2021. Ticket sales start this Friday, 20th November at 10am.  
 

André Rieu says: “Hello my dear friends, since March we haven’t performed a single concert. It’s been heart-breaking not being able to play for you. Therefore I am thrilled to announce two new concerts today! As you know, in  April my orchestra and I will finally return to the UK and Ireland! And we have added two fantastic new dates to this tour, Newcastle and Manchester. I look forward to seeing you so much and thank you for your love. I send you mine from all my heart!”
 

The audience can look forward to fantastic melodies from film, musical, opera and operetta as well as traditional music and of course they are invited to waltz the night away in an unforgettable evening of music and dance. 
Rieu has sold more than 40 million CDs and DVDs. His new album “Jolly Holiday” was released on 13th November worldwide and immediately hit the UK charts – www.jollyholiday.online 

Tickets will go on sale at 10am on Friday 20th November 2021 and are available online.
