An all new Electronic Music Series for the North East has arrived!

Skream, Matthias Tanzmann, Hannah Wants, My Nu Leng, Darius Syrossian, Route94 and more… all step into the Boiler!

With everyone still getting over the constant shocks of 2016, the news of a fresh exciting music event series in Newcastle is the glimmer of light 2017 needs to start the right way!

Recently announced Concept10 will deliver 'high level underground electronic music events to one of the region’s most historically important venues.’

One of the most exciting elements of this music series? The unique, historical building that the events will be held in – The Boiler Shop. The Boiler Shop, owned by the Clouston Group, dates back to the 1820’s and was a focal part the Stephenson Co. locomotive, but in recent years has attracted up to 3000 people to its food and music events. Having recently undergone a multi million pound renovation, the heritage, rustic and unique features still remain a huge attraction.

MishMash Events, the company behind Concept10, have indicated that they will programme and host 10 dance music led events within the next 6 months, with top level international DJs & artists that span genres such as Techno, House, Drum and Bass and Disco, to name but a few.

The first five events have just been announced, and have already received huge plaudits for the contemporary and appealing blend of genres, brands and artists.

Mike Hesketh, Concept10 - Director said “We visited the space back in 2012, to attend the ‘Steamer’ events there and instantly fell in love with the space. The brick walls, concrete floors, high wooden original ceiling together with the history, what is there not to love?

“When we heard about the investment from Clouston Group, and their passion for bringing contemporary music events to the Boiler Shop, we had to get involved!”

“Other cities such as Manchester & Edinburgh, all have iconic electronic music series to shout about. Events such as Warehouse Project, Nightvision & recently Printworks London, all of which attract thousands of people to the area, deliver phenomenal events to local dance music fans, and bring the spotlight to the area from the international music industry”.

“We’ve been blown away by the response! The first two events sold out in days, and the others are not far behind as well. Great to see such huge appetite for electronic music in the North East!”

It seems the first few months of 2017 promise to be fantastic for lovers of electronic music, make sure you get your tickets before they all go!
