Mary Kelly hopes to lead a better life for her child and the local boy she's fallen in love with, however as they try to plan their escape out the dosshouse that her grandmother Maud runs, an unseen killer stalks London's Whitechapel, with a series of brutal murders, the neighbourhood is sent into horror, fear and mistrust.
