The Great War: A Doctors Experience, Ian McArdle Lord Moran, Churchill's physician during WWII, served as a young Medical Officer on the Western Front in the Great War. His experiences and acute powers of observation give us a detailed picture of the grim conditions and the behaviour of the men whose welfare he had an important part in protecting.
