Calling all bookworms! Newcastle's annual book festival, Books on Tyne, is back for another year bringing together the best writers from the region and beyond for a programme packed with fascinating talks and events.

Taking place at both The Lit & Phil and the City Library, the programme offers something for readers of all kinds of persuasions - from talks with Michael Bracewell about his novella on iconic group The Smiths to conversations with Steph McGovern about her debut crime novel Deadline.
