INSIGHTS - The Russia-Ukraine War: The Future of Conflict, or the Past?: Newcastle University

Full-scale war in Europe was meant to be a thing we no longer had to fear, but the Russia-Ukraine War changed this.

Join Mark Galleotti, a professor at University College London and expert in modern Russia, as he ponders whether the conflict means we must question our assumptions about 21st century conflict or whether it's an atavistic brawl from the past, and whether it's [art of a global war against Western hegemony (as claimed by Putin) or rather an expression of 19th century geopolitical thinking.
