HogmanHOWAY 5k: Newcastle Civic Centre

Ring in the New Year with a 5k run around the Toon!

After a successful debut last year, the HogmanHOWAY 5k returns for 2026 and entries are now open.

This year, there'll be a revised route that includes one of Newcastle's most iconic streets - Northumberland Street - which means even more runners can take part!

It promises an electric night-time running experience, with every finisher also receiving a special edition medal, festive New Year's Eve goody bag, a limited-edition event buff and a celebratory mulled wine for runners aged over 18 (with non-alcoholic options available for the young 'uns!).

So whether you're super speedy, or prefer to take things at your own pace, don't miss out on your chance to take part in the second edition of HogmanHOWAY 5k!
