The Dragon Boat Race is back this October for a day of racing on the Tyne, accompanied by a day of activities on land.
On Saturdy 2nd October, boats of up to 16 paddlers, plus a drummer will take to the Tyne in a bid to bag the quickest team time!
Head down to the river and marvel at this stunning spectacle with tons of activities and stalls on-land too. There's everything from Tyre flipping to weight-lifting challenges and face painting to limbo dancing competitions for the whole family to enjoy.
The best part of all? The entire event works to raise money for vital charity work from Tiny Lives and Children's Heart Unit Fund, so be sure to get down and show yoru support!
