Seeing Colour In A Contemporary Light: Life Science Centre

This Event has passed

In this fascinating talk, Anya Hurlbert, Professor of Visual Neuroscience at Newcastle University, aims to unravel some of this colour confusion. Professor Hurlbert will explore how we perceive colours, not as physical things, but as something that results from processes in the eye and brain. She will also be describing amazing experiments that have been carried out both in the lab and in public installations to demonstrate the changeable nature of colour.
